A BILL to amend article one, chapter five-f of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated section five, relating to abolishing the office of secretary of the department of education and the arts.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That article one, chapter five-f of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be amended by adding thereto a new section, designated section five, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS.
§5F-1-5. Abolishment of the office of secretary of the
department of education and the arts.

Notwithstanding any other provision of the law to the contrary, the office of secretary of the department of education and the arts, created by section two, article one of this chapter is hereby abolished.


NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to abolish the office of secretary of the department of education and the arts.
